Trade Stands now full for 2016

We're delighted to announce that 2016 looks like being a bumper year for trade stands and exhibitors.

2016 will be welcoming back some traditional favourites, alongside some new faces... so we're sure there's something to see for people of all ages and interests.

The main attraction this year is Bob Hogg’s Sheepdog and Duck Display along with his Lamb National. Bob travels the country with his working Sheepdogs giving educational but entertaining displays. His Lamb National Sheep Race comprises of 5-6 Herdwick Sheep renowned for their hardiness and agility. In brightly coloured coats and with jockeys on board, they race down the trace and over the jumps.

Other attractions on display include The Sheep Show with four performances throughout the day to entertain everyone and the ever popular Otley Brass Band will be performing at the top of the field.

Entries in all sections have flooded in and the showground is packed to capacity with everything from Hamsters to Heavy Horses and this year, sees the return of the Rabbit Show.

There are still plenty of chance though to book your ticket to see the show. Buy online here or on the day at the main entrances.Tickets can also be bought locally in Otley at many shops at a reduced price and membership of the Society is still only £23 with further details being found on the website.

Waitrose Community Funds

We're over the moon to be selected as one of the recipients in May from the Waitrose Community Funds.

Each time a customer does their shopping at Waitrose they receive a little green token. There is then three 'Community funds' that the customer can choose from, simply choose the most worthy cause and put the token in corresponding box and Waitrose will make a donation depending on the amount of tokens in the box at the end of the month.

A big thank you goes to Waitrose for making us one of their chosen three community funds, and any customers that choose us!
