OTLEY - A THRIVING MARKET TOWN NESTLED IN THE BOUNDARIES OF WEST AND NORTH YORKSHIRE

Set in the beautiful Lower Wharfe Valley, Otley is steeped in history and is an ideal base for walking, climbing, eating out or just visiting the local shops and markets.
Otley is also famous for cycling, and was honoured in 2014 during the Grand Depart of the Tour De France, followed by hosting stages of the Tour de Yorkshire.
There is also an excellent market three times a week, plus a monthly Farmers’ Market and a range of specialist bakeries, butchers and speciality shops.
Otley is also famous for pubs, and there is a great selection of traditional pubs and inns serving good food and a range of regional, international and local beers.
The River Wharfe runs through the heart of the town, with lovely walks through Riverside Park with views up to another famous walk at Chevin Forest Park, where there are spectacular views over the town and surrounding countryside.
